FILM:
A mock documentary about an organization of actors who play
Jesus
in church plays and pageants. A splinter is created in the
group when
the founder wants to cast a black and Hispanic Jesus for
various
events, and some of the more strict members are opposed to it.
ROLES:
(4) Caucasian males, (ages 18-35)
(1) African-American male (age 18-35)
(1) Hispanic male (age 18-35)

Celebration Players make local critics top five for
2005!!
Encore! Central Florida, Encore!

Central Florida is blessed with a lot of great
things, but if I were ranking them, community theaters would
be close to the top..........
In addition to the wonderful "Big River," I was
also greatly impressed by four other local musical
productions: "Blood Brothers" by the Bay Street Players of
Eustis, "Man of La Mancha" by the Celebration Players,
"Grease" by Orlando's Theatre Downtown, and "Sweeney Todd" by
the Mount Dora Theatre Company -- four radically different
shows and all so memorable.
