ABOUT THE CAST AND CREW:
Dale Marach (Director) –
For Celebration Players Dale has
directed Lend Me A Tenor, Barefoot in the
Park, Harvey, 1776 and Our Town. On stage he
was the man with the very large signature, John Hancock in
1776 for two consecutive years. Originally from
Chicago, his other directing credits include The 1940’s
Radio Hour and Larry Shue’s The
Nerd. Performing credits include Play It Again,
Sam, Fiddler On The Roof, My Three Angels, Joseph and the
Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and The Good Doctor.
He has stage managed such shows as the 3 Neil Simon ‘B.B.’
plays, Brighton Beach Memoirs, Biloxi Blues, and
Broadway Bound, as well as Pippin, Charley’s Aunt,
and Murder On The Nile.
Duane Fioravanti (Stage Manager) –
Duane has been with the Celebration Players since 2005, having
assisted both behind the scenes and performing on stage. He
worked stage crew for the 2005 production of Man of La
Mancha and more recently for this year's Fiddler on the
Roof. Duane's on stage credits include Dr. Lyman Hall of
Georgia in the 2005 production of 1776 and Joe Stoddard
in this year's production of Our Town. Duane is a
Disney cast member currently working in Celebration and is
pleased and proud to again have the opportunity to work with
such an outstanding cast and crew. DUSTOFF!
Cast Bios
Heather Friend (Miss Wells) -
Heather recently relocated to Orlando and is making her debut
with Celebration Players. Past theater experience includes:
The Laramie Project ,Amanda Gronich et al., Melissa in,
Love Letters and Linda in, Cash on Delivery. She
was acting Producer for The Taffetas and has been
involved in set design and stage managing. Heather is a
Pediatric Physical Therapist for the Seminole County Public
Schools. She would like to thank her family, especially her
mom and brother, and all of her friends who have always been
tolerant and supportive of her various endeavors.
Andrew Henske (Jonathan Harker)
Greg Posso (Dr. Seward) – Thrilled to be performing
in his fourth production with Celebration Players (twice as
the Honorable Judge James Wilson in 1776,
and as The Constable in Fiddler on the Roof),
this is Greg's first non-musical production. He also appeared
in the S.T.A.G.E. production of 1776 as George
Read. Proud father of three beautiful girls, Greg also works
as a Merchandise Manager at Disney's Swan & Dolphin Resorts.
Spencer
Jenkins (Prof.
Abraham Van Helsing) – Spencer has
been seen in other Players productions such as 1776, We The
People and Our Town. At Celebration High School he
appeared in Little Shop of Horrors, Fame and
Footloose. For Off Book Productions, the High School's in
class theater company, he appeared in A Christmas Carol
and The Mousetrap. He directed The Complete Works of
Shakespeare (abridged). He would like to thank his
friends and family for their support and the Celebration
Players for the great opportunities they have given
him.
Rich Somsky (R.M. Renfield) -
Dracula is Rich’s third appearance with the
Celebration Players. He previously appeared as Elwood P. Dowd
in 2005’s Harvey and as Howie Newsome in this past
February’s Our Town. Before moving to Florida from
Iowa, Rich appeared in more than a dozen shows, including
The Boys Next Door, Wait Until Dark, Laughter on the 23rd
Floor, and Little Shop of Horrors. Rich is a
business consultant for small businesses and non-profit
organizations – focusing on organizational performance
excellence. In real life, Rich lives with his wife Terri and
their two dogs, Bruno and Bela. (And no, Bela is not
named after Bela Lugosi. However when Bela dies, she has
requested to be buried in a cape – but we think that’s just a
coincidence.)
Tony Diaz (Butterworth)
Beth Eastwood
(Lucy Seward) – This is Beth’s first production with
Celebration Players. In fact, it is her first community
theater production ever. A native of Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, Beth moved to Kissimmee in the summer of 2004.
She currently teaches Geometry and Algebra I at the Osceola
County School for the Arts. Beth attended Penn State
University, where she participated in Amplified, a
student-run music, arts, and performance group. When not
teaching, Beth directs the middle school youth group and also
participates in the drama ministry at her church. She would
like to thank her family for… everything, and special kisses
to Christi, Love you Sis!
Trevor Farrell
(Count Dracula) - This is Trevor's 3rd appearance with the
Players. Most of his stage work was in Illinois. His credits
include Creon in Antigone, Al in Side Man, the
Irish Bartender in Ah!, Wilderness on the
Bradley University stage, Daddy Warbucks in Annie,
Billy in Anything Goes, and Elmer in Our Girls
(no relation to Our Town), Dr. Gibbs, Our Town.
A junior and senior English Teacher at Celebration High
School, Trevor wishes to thank his family and friends for
everything, and thank Celebration Players for such a great
experience.
